Cal Poly Performance Horse Sale 2021
Well folks, the time has almost come! The amazing program you see me post about so often is five days from an event two years in the making. If you haven’t gone to check out the young horses and student trainers in this weekend’s sale, please head to ranchhorse.calpoly.edu to check out all their fantastic marketing content. While every batch of horses they start are great, this crew is near and dear to me, as the students, horses, and program have had to be so much more creative in their grit, problem-solving, and determination. These 17 Cal Poly students alongside the instruction of Lou Moore-Jacobsen have started under saddle or continued in the training of nearly 40 young horses, 31 of which will be finding their new homes and jobs within the week.
It would truly be an honor to own one of these horses. I am so so proud of the friendships I have made through spending time with this program, and honored to support and work with them. Can’t wait to see these horses futures, as you can tell, they have already grown INCREDIBLY within the CP Performance Horse Program!
